It has been over 3+ months since I have made a post, not because I haven't been doing anything exciting, but because I have been extremely busy. I have been on many shopping trips and bought lots of neat items and gone to several flea markets too! It would take me days to update, so I will post pictures from the last market I went to at the end of September with 2 wonderful friends, Jeannette and Dianna. We drove up to Tongeren, Belgium and spent the night so we could get an early start at the flea market. I have been to this flea market before, but it was a first for my friends and we all came away with some treasures.
Jeannette, Dianna and myself inside our youth hostel room
There was a big festival for the ascension of Mary going on while we were there and the streets were lined with calla lilies hanging between the buildings.
Tons of shranks all over the place
My sole purpose for going to Tongeren was to buy a dough bowl. I found this beautiful one for 47 euros. They sell them around here for over 80 euros, so I was happy! Oh and I saw them in the new Pottery Barn catalog for $149! Score and mine has a story-straight from a European flea market!
